Sports

 Brian has picked up a new hobby/sport - bicycling! He has purchased a new bike and so much gear that he looks like he should be competing in the Tour de France! (Which, by the way, he watched almost every day of the race.) This is not a picture of Brian, but it might as well be, because he looks just like that! Did you know that their shoes attach to their pedals? Crazy!

He loves it, maybe almost as much as kayaking....
And speaking of which, he has sold his older kayak and purchased a newer/better one. Brian has had, and hopes to have, a few more excursions before school starts in August!

Natalie is now 6 weeks old, and we're comfortable enough to take her out to public places now. Also, she's so delighted when she sees us that she sometimes welcomes us with an excited, gurgly grin! This is one of the first signs that she's developing an ability to socialize, also called a "social smile." We love it!  :)
