Natalie has an affinity for shoes, especially boots, so you can imagine her excitement when she opened this cute pair of pink galoshes. She had to put them on right away!
Natalie also received some fun Disney Princess Lego Duplo sets, which Daddy helped her to assemble. :)
And a tricycle!!!
Grandpa and Daddy helped her take her first spin on her new bike.
Later that afternoon, we attended our church's Christmas Eve service. While I stayed after service to teach the next group of elementary kids, Brian took Natalie home to get ready for bed and put cookies and milk out for Santa! I don't think she really knew what was going on last year, so it was fun to finally tell her stories about Santa and Jesus and to have her anticipate the events of the season. Jingle Bells is her favorite Christmas song, and she enjoyed riding in her stroller through the neighborhood to look at Christmas lights.
Christmas morning was full of surprises! We woke her up and brought her out to see the presents under the tree and the full stockings. We opened out stockings upstairs, and then went downstairs to find the leftover cookie crumbs and an empty glass of milk by the tree.

Here she is wearing her Doc McStuffins tools and an apron. She likes to listen to your heartbeat and stick the bulb part of the blood pressure monitor in your mouth - ha!

Then family came over with more presents!
Natalie sure loves her dresses! Even if it's just a night gown, she will want to put it on ASAP and start to twirl.
Here she is sporting her original pajamas, the nightgown, an apron the grandma made, and her pink boots, sitting in her new toboggan. Silly girl!
"Open your mouth for your shot, Uncle Jon!" Seriously, that's where she gives you shots.
