Ava showed Natalie how to play with the pizza dough - and she loved it!
Then, we decided to go to the Zoo the next day:
Samantha and Ava were so watchful of Natalie - it was the sweetest thing. You can even see Ava's hands still reaching up for Natalie as she watches the giraffes.
Natalie's favorite part of the zoo is still the farm. She takes more initiative now to brush the goats (2 brushes for each goat), and you could even "milk" the fake plastic cow!
Natalie is becoming more fascinated with everything that Mommy does in the kitchen, so I am trying to involve her whenever I can. That way, she's also not shouting and tugging at me the whole time. Here she is pureeing her own vegetables!
The next day, we went to the Phoenix Children's Museum with Abby and her mom, Melissa! One of her favorite parts was the fan in the floor:
These girls are such good friends! We are so glad we met their family at Great Play! They are so cute playing the xylophone together. We were quite amazed that the wrenches were actually in tune!
The museum even has a place to relax and read a book. I think this boy wants a story read to him, too...
Brian has been dying to take Natalie out in his kayak. Here is the practice run in our pool, but later he took Natalie out on the lake near our house! She really likes it.
And then we went to the zoo AGAIN! This time with the Richardsons, Thyes, Mattie, and Mairi, and all the kids! They really liked the meerkats!
Natalie also rode the carousel for the first time! She was begging ever since she saw it, and picked the dragon specifically to ride on.
We had a blast! Granted, Spring Break is also usually full of doctors/dentist appointments and other errands that we don't normally have time for, so there was a lot of that, too. But I cannot wait until this summer when we have even more time to go wherever we want whenever we want! :)
